An eye for
the individual.

Before JBC, I spent more than 15 years as a personal and photo stylist, creating looks for private clients and large-scale advertising campaigns. I also owned a hair salon in Portland, Oregon. That work taught me to notice the details: a jacket’s proportions, a familiar haircut, the difference between getting dressed and feeling like yourself.

Today, image consulting is part of the conversation. We look at what your clothes communicate, what feels natural, and what your next chapter might ask of you. The aim is a wardrobe and a way of carrying yourself that belong to the same person.

I’m a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Sexologist, with experience in addiction counseling and behavioral support for sexual and relational compulsions. That background informs how I listen, the questions I ask, and my respect for the stories behind someone’s habits.

At JBC, we bring that understanding into daily life. We can talk about avoidance, shame, intimacy, and the things you reach for when connection feels difficult. Then we look at what a different choice could be—in a conversation, on a date, or in the small moments that shape a relationship.

The other side
of the table.

As a former professional dater with over 10,000 hours of experience, I’ve spent a great deal of time across the table from accomplished men. My experience spans law, finance, and media—including executives from Kirkland & Ellis, BlackRock, and Newsweek.

I learned to notice what makes a conversation open up, where confidence becomes performance, and how someone makes another person feel. That perspective is central to JBC: real experiences give us something honest to reflect on, with enough humor to make the learning feel human.
